Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your Safaris Arusha adventure begins with a warm welcome from your guide. After a roughly 2-hour drive, you’ll arrive at the awe-inspiring Tarangire National Park. Upon entering the park, your guide will open the roof for a better viewing experience. Tarangire is renowned for hosting the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Here, you can spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelopes and gazelles. The landscape features seasonal marshes and a seemingly endless tree savannah adorned with majestic baobab trees. After a day of extensive game drives, you’ll head to our unique wilderness lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After a satisfying breakfast, embark on another exhilarating game drive in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its captivating Serengeti Wildlife and wildlife concentration, especially during the dry season between June and October when the Tarangire River becomes the primary water source. You’ll pause at one of the picturesque picnic spots for lunch. In the afternoon, bid farewell to Tarangire as you pass through the diverse town of Mto wa Mbu. You’ll soon ascend to the highlands, offering stunning views of the Masai Plains and Lake Manyara. After the obligatory photo stop, proceed to the vegetation-rich crater highlands, where your luxurious lodge awaits.

Day 3: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

After Today you will drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and down into the Ngorongoro Crater. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all the animals found in the East African savannah. In only a few hours, you have the chance of spotting the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard). After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will leave the highlands of Ngorongoro in the afternoon and continue to the Serengeti. You will soon see the seemingly endless plains of the southern Serengeti and finally reach the Seronera Valley in the central Serengeti. The stunning Sopa Lodge will be your home for the next three nights.

Day 4 – 5: Serengeti National Park

Dedicate these two days to immersive game viewing in the Serengeti National Park, a true Safari Park gem. Your expert guide will lead you to prime wildlife spots, where you can witness elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more in this expansive national park. Particularly in the Seronera Valley, you’ll enjoy fantastic game viewing year-round. Alongside Kenya’s Masai Mara, the Serengeti is home to the world’s most extensive animal migration, the Serengeti Migration. Your base is the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Arusha

If time allows, embark on a final early morning game drive. Following a hearty breakfast at the lodge, your guide will escort you to the airstrip, where you’ll bid farewell and board a small aircraft for a return flight to Arusha. If you wish, we can arrange connecting flights to Tanzania’s coastal areas or islands at an additional cost.
