5 days on an incredible Kenya Safari as you journey from Nairobi to the captivating Masai Mara Kenya Safari. With the flexibility to choose your daily schedule, you can experience thrilling game drives and witness the remarkable wildlife in their natural habitat. Your adventure continues to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you can explore the diverse landscapes and observe an array of unique animal species. The journey then leads to Amboseli National Park, where you can enjoy further exciting game drives. Finally, return to Nairobi, concluding your 5-day Safari in Kenya, with unforgettable memories of the mesmerizing wildlife and picturesque landscapes.

Day 1 – Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your Kenya Safari and Tanzania Safari adventure begins with a 7:30 AM pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Masai Mara Kenya Safari. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara Kenya Safari shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.

After the game drive, we head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge.

Note: The last 1-hour drive to Masai Mara Kenya Safari is on the corrugated and bumpy road and may not be comfortable for clients with back problems. Clients with back problems can consider flying directly to (and out of) Masai Mara Kenya Safari.

Day 2 – Masai Mara

Today’s itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today’s schedule.

You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. you will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After a relaxed breakfast and around 10:00 AM checkout and Depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is about a 6.5-hour drive. Upon reaching Lake Nakuru National Park lodge, check-in, have dinner and relax for the day.

Note: Morning game drives in Masai Mara Kenya Safari can be added on day 3 by paying an extra USD 85 PP.
Note: Depending on your itinerary, the location of the lodge in Nakuru, and the plan for the next day (if going to Amboseli National Park, for example), we might skip morning game drives in Masai Mara Kenya Safari this day and proceed to Nakuru directly to reach by around 2:00 PM and do afternoon game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 4 – Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, depart to Amboseli National Park, which is about a 7-hour drive. Upon arrival, check-in to the lodge, have lunch, and start your afternoon safari in Amboseli National Park. You can do game drives until about 6:00 PM before returning to your camp/lodge for a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight stay at your Camp/Lodge.

Note: Depending on your itinerary, starting time in Nakuru, you might also depart with packed lunch from Nakuru.

Day 5 – Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning and proceed to Amboseli National Park for game drives around 6:15 AM. Continue with game drives until around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from the camp and proceed to Nairobi Safari to reach by around 3:00 PM.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN NAIROBI

We recommend flying into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) early today for your Kenya Safari adventure. We recommend a private transfer to Nairobi, where the rest of the day is at leisure. We stay at the OSOITA LODGE, which is beautifully located close to Nairobi National Park and is a perfect place to prepare for your Kenya Safari Itinerary. Today you will meet your safari driver guide at OSOITA LODGE for a short safari briefing and equipment check.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MASAI MARA

Enjoy an early wildlife safari drive when animals are most active during your Masai Mara Kenya exploration. Opt to visit a Masai village, learn to dance like a warrior, stop in the Manyatta (family compound), and learn about this nomadic culture.

DAY 3: ANOTHER FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MASAI MARA

Early morning game drive returns to your camp for breakfast after breakfast. Full day spends in the park with packed lunch searching for its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo, and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara River to witness the Wildebeest Migration in Kenya.

DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MASAI MARA

A full day in the vast plains of Mara searches for the big five as you explore the famous Mara reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives taken.

DAY 5: MASAI MARA TO ISIBANIA ONWARD TO SERENGETI

After an early breakfast, check out and collect lunch boxes and leave for Isibenia. There is an opportunity for en-route game viewing.
Arrive at Isibenia on time for Visa & Immigration formalities and proceed to Serengeti for a remarkable Tanzania and Kenya Safari experience.

DAY 6: LAKE NAKURU TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast, we head towards the western reaches of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Western Corridor. We will do a game drive en route from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor area, where you can experience the Wildebeest Migration in Kenya. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, and after lunch, we will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area. The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Western Corridor area in June, depending on rainfall patterns.

DAY 7: FULL DAY WATCHING WILDEBEEST CROSSING ON GRUMETI RIVER

Today we drive inside the Serengeti, intending to view the migration crossing Grumeti River. The Great Migration is an amazing race for life and an incredible sight to behold, a key highlight of your Tanzania and Kenya Safari.

DAY 8: GAME DRIVE IN LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Today we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives. Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals, and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. In the late afternoon, we make a short journey from the park to Arusha.

DAY 9: ARUSHA TO KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

After breakfast or lunch at the hotel, we drive straight to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home, ending your memorable safari with views of the Wildebeest Grumeti River crossing.

As we journey through the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley, you’ll get the chance to appreciate Kenya’s unique landscapes. In the afternoon, we continue with our thrilling game drives in Maasai Mara, immersing ourselves in its abundant wildlife. As the sun dips below the horizon, we return to the welcoming Olemorani Tented Camp Safari for a delightful dinner and rest: Full board.

DAY 3: Maasai Mara Safari – A Wildlife Odyssey

Dedicate a full day to the exploration of Maasai Mara, in search of the famous BIG FIVE and other captivating creatures. Morning and afternoon game drives will keep you enthralled. If you’re seeking an extra dash of excitement, don’t miss the optional hot air balloon safari, available for an additional cost of US$ 550 per person. As the day gives way to evening, retreat to the Olemorani Tented Camp Safari for a sumptuous dinner under the starlit African skies: Full board.

DAY 4: Maasai Mara to Nairobi – Journey’s End

Start the day with a memorable morning game drive, taking in the breathtaking wildlife of Maasai Mara. After breakfast at the camp, it’s time to bid adieu to this magical land and make our way back to Nairobi, where your incredible Kenya Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru adventure comes to an end.
